Building Open-Source Robots

Robots are the future, so i started building my own.
My first project was a 5-joint 9gram-servo engine robot-arm. This consisted of 6 3D printed parts and 4 servoe engines and runs on an Arduino Uno, however the UNO does not have enough power to run two servos at the same time, so they need an external power supply. Then i found a robotarm on Thingiverse, designed by fTobler to run on an Atmega 2650 and Ramps 1.4, with 3 Nema17 steppers and a small stepper engine for grippping, this being bottom-heavy. The design turned out to be poorly designed for 3D printing, but it works, and if you can build a 3D printer, this is the same setup.
